Grease Lightning

Today was the first day this week I didn't follow my usual routine.  I missed my exercise and I could definitely tell how much exercising benefits my mental well being. Oh well, I made it through today with no major hiccups... so, all is well.

Ryan, Douglas, and I went to Lowes today. I got some Morning glory seeds and a couple of honeysuckle plants. I am ready to start my flower beds!

Tonight Douglas attended his first play.... 'Grease Lightning'.  I was so proud of him he made it through the two hour play without a single cry. He was mesmerized by the dancing and singing. Afterwards he had a special moment with his Great Grandpa.  He got a goodbye handshake and then Grandpa kissed his own finger and put it to Douglas's forehead. It was a wonderful moment for me. I can't remember a single time that  I have ever seen my grandpa kiss anyone.  It was a moment I wanted to record so I would never forget. :o)

Nothing much out of the ordinary... but I don't ever want to forget these ordinary days .
